Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • Potatoes-3 medium


  • Whole Wheat Flour -2 cup


  • Whole Wheat flour for dusting


  • Onion-1 medium


  • Coriander leaves chopped -1tbsp


  • Green Chilli -2


  • Red Chilli Powder -1/2 tbsp


  • Garam Masala Powder -1/2 tbsp


  • Chaat Masala -1tbsp


  • Salt to taste


  • Ghee-2 tbsp

Directions

  • Wash and boil the potatoes in a pressure cooker by using sufficient water for 2-3 whistle and then switch off the flame and cool it. Chop the onion, green chilli and coriander leaves.
  • Meanwhile,take wheat flour in a mixing bowl, add salt to taste and knead it into a soft dough by using sufficient water and let it rest for 15 minutes by covering it with a damp cloth.
  • When the potatoes cooled down, then mash it well, add chopped onion, green chilli, coriander leaves, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, chaat masala and salt into it and mix all very well.
  • Then divide the dough into equal portions, Roll out each portion into a thick disc and keep a portion of potato filling in the center, bring the edges together, seal it well and roll it into a ball.
  • Flatten the ball lightly,dust with dry flour and roll it into thick paratha.
  • Heat a tawa,place paratha on the tawa and cook each paratha for 2-3 minutes on one side and then flip it and cook the other side for another 2 minutes. Apply ghee on the top, flip it and cook it for a minute. Repeat the same for the other side and then take it out and serve it immediately.
